Margaret Lu is a literary soulmate to J.D. Salinger and Oscar Wilde. Her art and writing has been recognized with gold awards, silver awards, and honorable mentions in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. In addition, she is second in the state in Illinois for IHSA Journalism, is a journalist for The Chicago Tribune's teen newspaper, The Mash, and is Editor-in-Chief of her high school's newspaper, The Voice. When not writing or painting, Maggie enjoys surfing Pinterest, overindulging on chai tea lattes, and attempting to sing Spanish songs.
