the displacement of the spectrum to shorter wavelengths in the light coming from distant celestial objects moving toward the observer.

Franny Choi is the author of Floating, Brilliant, Gone (Write Bloody Publishing, 2014) and a recipient of the Frederick Bock Prize. She has been a finalist for the Ruth Lilly Poetry Fellowship and multiple national poetry slams. Her work has appeared in journals such as POETRY Magazine and featured by the Huffington Post. She is a VONA Fellow, a Project VOICE teaching artist, and a member of the Dark Noise Collective. She lives in the biggest city in the smallest state.
