EDITOR'S NOTE

Begin in St. Louis. Then Saigon. Then down the Hudson. Down into paint. Into disorder.

Issue VII is a celebration within heartbreak. It is joy where joy should not be. & for me, it is also somewhat of a swan song.
This will be my last editor's note to you all. Though Blueshift will most certainly continue its work, I will be stepping away from our issues for some time.

You have brought me so much joy the past few years. Editing has been the highest pleasure & honor. But like all joy, eventually it must end. I have lingered on eventually for as long as I could. I have enjoyed every second of it.

I would like to take this time to welcome Amber Officer-Narvasa as our new Executive Editor. As I focus on our outside projects, she will be taking over the editorial process. Your poems, stories & art will be in the best of hands, I assure you.

With that done & over with, I want to welcome you to Issue VII. Its miniature worlds & infinite joys.
Ignite, ignite, ignite.
